We think there is always a tomorrow,
so why expose our feelings today?
Why risk being
vulnerable?
Why take a chance?
Because today, who we love,
what we feel, what is real,
is what we have.
Tomorrow it may all change.
A silent fall a lay down quietly, Who
knows?
An arm limp, Falls down, Eyes close forever
Can I ask the question why?
Why? Why? Why?
He's gone??!!??
Never to bother me, never to ask me for anything
I wish you would bother me,
I wish you would ask me for anything
Where is he? I do not know
He's not here! Why isn't he here?
Can anyone answer these questions?
Can he? Will he?
Why can't anyone understand?
I don't understand
Please come back!
Everyone misses you!
I'm tired of all the stress and all the tears!
Where are you? Can you help me?
Would you? Could you?
Do you watch over me?
I try to face the pain, it's really hard
to
It hurts me too
The pain
Why so much pain?
Why can't it be normal
Like before March 19, 1996
Why can't it be like when I would get home from school
and you would be waiting for me
In a car or a truck
Smiling, bugging Corbin
Your cute face and messy hair
Your stories of how school went
And what you made at school
I used to say when you would grow up
I'd beat up anyone who would pick on you
Why can't I beat anyone up? Where are you?
Love You Always,
Shantell Cameron

An Angel Child
Once in awhile an Angel child,
chooses to come to the earth
With gifts from above
He brings so much love
To those who wait for their sweet angels birth
Once in awhile an angel child
Struggles while he's on the earth
Salvation made sure
Great trials he'll endure
as he teaches us life's infinite worth
Sweet angel child
heavens light fills your eyes,
Unspoken love fills your soul
You wait patiently
Your dreams set you fee
May the dreams in your heart all come true
Miss you my ANGEL BABY,
Mommy
A Sermon Gave By His Aunt
Anyone who knows Holden, knows what an active, exuberant boy he was. He faced each day and made it his own. Even thought he was beset with problems from the first, he never let them interfere with the joy that he gave. He always faced his trials with better grace then most of us can muster up to get through an ordinary day. Even though he was only with us a short time, none who were touched by him will ever forget him. And anyone he met, he touched. Holden was blessed to have a loving father, a devoted mother, a concerned brother and sister and a large network of friends. And a family who practically worshiped him.
He was the funniest guy, he was wanting to buy my daughter flowers and kitchen cupboards.
Holden taught me that you need to live every moment, and do it with your head high while finding all the joy possible.
Someone once said that a moment of joy, is worth a lifetime of pain. I agree with that as I believe that Holden will truly never die, he will always be alive in our memory and in our hearts.
He shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary him
Nor the years condition him
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember him.

When
I die, I want to be A child in Heaven. I want to be A ten-year-old cherub. I want to be A hero in Heaven, And a peacemaker, Just like my goal on Earth. I will ask God if I can Help the people in Purgatory. I will help them think, About their life, And their spirits, About their future. I will help them Hear their Heartsongs again, So they can finally See the face of God, So soon. When I die, I want to be, Just like I want to be Here on[?] Earth. I said, "God,
I hurt."
And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
tears."
I said, "God, I am so depressed."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
Sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
loved ones."
I said, "God, it hurts."
And God said,
"I know."
I said, "God, my loved one died."
And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss."
And God said, I saw mine nailed to a
cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?"
And God said, "Mine is on My right and
yours is in the Light."

Dear Debbie, Nicolas, TJ, and Shantell,
At what must be a very difficult time for you all, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sadie saw the comet the other night, and made a wish thinking it was a shooting star. Her wish was
that God would let Holden come back. We talked about how, as you said in your letter to her, that now Holden was now her special angel watching over her, and that he will still always be with us in our memories and in our hearts. We talked about the time they spent in pre-school in Magna together, and the times we went to Pleasant Green Park to play. Then she watched the video of Holden, as she has done so many times before.
We would like to celebrate all the happy times we spent with Holden running, playing, jumping and playing in the park in the wonderful sunshine. In honor of Holden and those happy
memories, we are having a Tree planted in Pleasant Green Park in Holden's name. The tree is a Shady Honey Locus which will grow for more then a hundred years, and spread its beautiful branches to provide shade and protection for generations of children to come in honor of one little boy who will always stay a beautiful little boy. The Parks Department will plant it in the next few weeks, and I have asked that when they do they send me a map showing where it was placed so that we might all watch it grow, and one day sit under it and share those happy memories once again.
Thank-you for the beautiful letter that you wrote to Sadie. We are all proud to have had the privilege to have known Holden.
Our tears and smiles are with you,
Susan, Sadie and Erin
Should You Go First
Should you go first and I remain
To walk the road alone, I'll live in memory's garden, dear,
With happy days we've known.
In Spring I'll wait for roses red,
When fades the lilac blue,
In early fall, when brown leaves call
I'll catch a glimpse of you.
Should you go first and I remain
For battles to be fought,
For each thing you've touched along the way
Will be a hallowed spot.
I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile,
Though blindly I may grope,
the memory of your helping hand
Will buoy me on with hope.
Should you go first and I remain
To finish with the scroll,
No lengthening shadows shall creep in
To make life seem droll.
We've known so much happiness,
We've had out cup of joy,
And memory is one gift of God
That death cannot destroy.
Should you go first and I remain,
One thing I'd have you do:
Walk slowly down that long, lone path,
For soon I'll follow you.
I'll want to know each step you take
That I may walk the same,
For some day down that lonely road
You'll hear me call your name.
A.K. Roswell
To Debbie:
May you one day soon again see the wonder and enjoy the sunshine.Love,
Susan
Mommy and Daddy
Mommy and Daddy please don't be sad.
I miss you so much, too.
It's beautiful here where I am,
but I worry a lot about you.
I sleep with angels watching me,
there's only love up here.
I'm never lonely or afraid
'cause God is always near.
I walk with Jesus every day.
He's very kind and sweet.
Don't worry, Mom and Dad, He holds my hand
when we cross a golden street.
I never cry or hurt myself,
I see rainbows every day...
I play and laugh and sing a lot
and hear you when you pray.
Please, Mommy and Daddy, don't be mad at God.
You see, He loves me, too.
And, even though you're not with me,
I'm really still with you.
When you wonder the meaning of life and love
Know that I am with you
Close your eyes
and feel me kissing you
In the gentle breeze across your cheek
When you begin to doubt that you shall ever see me again
Quiet your mind and hear me
I am in the whisper of the heavens
Speaking of your love
When you lose
your identity
When you question who you are and where you are going
Open your heart and see me
I am the twinkle
in the stars smiling down upon you
Lighting the path for your journey
When you awaken each morning not remembering your dreams
But feeling content and serene
Know that I was with you
Filling your nights with thoughts of me
When you linger in the remnant pain
Wholeness seeming so unfamiliar
Think of me
Know that I am with you
Touching you through shared tears of a gentle friend
Easing the pain
As the sunrise illuminates the desert sky
In that breathtaking brilliance, awaken your spirit
Think of our time together, all too brief, but ever brilliant
When you were certain of us together
When you were certain of your destiny
Know that God created that moment in time
Just for us
I am with you always.(C) 1998, 2000 by Joanne Cacciatore, All Rights Reserved

I have made an award in memory of Jeremy for those children who went though
so much pain because of their hearts on earth, and now have perfect hearts in
heaven. Please except this award for Holden in Jeremy's memory. God Bless.
