Winter's breath is cold and chilling, but oh what fun it can bring. Bundled up to brave the cold, a day in the white stuff can be so much fun. Angels in the snow, snowball fights, snow ice cream, a walk through the forest, hearing the crunch crunch as your footprints leave a trail. Feeling the snowflakes landing gently on your cheeks and eyelashes. Looking at a fresh meadow of snow, it almost looks like diamonds, it is so fun to go run through it and leave the first snow prints. A day of tubing, down a big hill, with family and then back home for some delicious warm cocoa. Oh!! what fun winter brings. There is no place like the Utah for the greatest snow on earth, (well that is what our license plates say!) and we ARE the home of the Winter Olympics 2002... Yipee!!!!

WINTER WONDERLAND
Snow Happens!
In The Meadow......
I love... snowy days, frosty nights and warm hearts
Sleigh bells ring are you listening
in the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight we're happy tonight
walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
we'll say: No man But you can do
the job when you're in town
Later on we'll conspire
as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
the plans that we've made
walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
and pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman
until the alligators knock him down
When it snows ain't it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play the Eskimo way
walking in a winter wonderland

Make Baked Alaska
4 cupcakes
1/2 pt. ice cream
4 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar
Fill hollowed-out cupcakes with ice cream. Freeze for at least four hours. Make meringue by whipping the egg whites until stiff. Then, still whipping, add sugar until the mixture has the consistency of marshmallow creme. Spread the meringue on the cupcakes with a knife, then quickly brown for 3 minutes under a broiler.
Cold Winter
The tender bud of a new leaf
The rising sun of a new day
Both bring to man a new belief
Cold winter has passed away
The freshness of a warm spring rain
Blue skies held up above
Sing to man a great refrain
Of never ending love
The earth is bursting with new song
Life budding all around
Cold winter sometimes seems so long
When only darkness can be found
The past is gone, new can begin
The trials have been survived
Darkness gone, the sun comes in
The earth has been revived.©1995-1999 Copyright Computer Genie All Rights Reserved

A Story of Michael the Snowman
Frosty The Snowman
Frosty The Snowman was a jolly happy soul,
with a corncob pipe and a button nose
and two eyes made out of coal.
Frosty the snowman was a fairytale they say.
he was made of snow, but the children know
how he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic
in that old silk hat they found.
for when they put it on his head,
he began to dance around.Oh, Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be,
and the children say he could laugh and play
just the same as you and me.Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
so he said let's run and we'll have some fun
now before I melt away.
Down through the village, with a broomstick in his hand,
running herre and there all around the square
saying catch me if you can.
They chased him down the streets of town
right past the traffic cop,
and they only paused a moment
when they heard him holler stop, for
Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way.
so he waved goodbye saying don't you cry.
I'll be back again someday.
please send us mail here, and don't forget to sign the guestbook too!
